RIVER RAPTOR RAVAGE

A project done over the summer 2016 together with a friend to create a VR demo for the HTC Vive using Unreal Engine.

I was mainly involved in using the blueprint system to write the enemy logic and make everything move correctly as well as create the particles for the game. I additionally dabbled in the animation system and

River Raptor Ravage is a virtual reality rail shooter. As the player floats down a calm river, wild raptors will pop up from the shore, from the trees, in the river, and the player has to fend them off and be careful not to get bitten.
The game is focused on managing ammo and shooting while allowing the player to move around the raft to avoid the approaching raptors. The raft is set to the same size as the player’s room to allow for full and natural player movement.
